Log A Load For Kids
This year, 2008, is Log A Load For Kids Twentieth Anniversary and celebrations are planned throughout the United States, as well as in Canada and Australia! The Log A Load For Kids 20th Anniversary Kick-off Celebration took place at North Carolina’s Carolina Crossroads Outdoor Amphitheater, May 15-17.
A lot has happened during those two decades that has made a big difference in the lives of children and in the quality of their health care. Log-A-Load for Kids has had many successful events, showing the caring and creativity of states’ logging and forestry communities, include golf tournaments, bass fishing tournaments, Miracle Mile walks, and clay shoots. The impact can be measured in repaired hearts, brain MRI’s, bone marrow transplants, in upgrades to neonatal care units – every donation counts, in so many ways!
The impact of the campaign can also be measured in ever strengthening bonds between the logging and forestry community and the medical community, both of which play such key roles in broad quality-of-life improvement
Children and their health needs are different. That's why it takes different resources to care for children and why there are pediatricians, pediatric specialists, and children's hospitals. There are many ways you can help kids battle every disease and injury. 100% of your contribution goes directly to Tennessee hospital.
This year we want Tennessee Forestry Association to show we care and do all we can to help Log-A-Load have a record breaking and successful anniversary year.
