FFA Forestry Camp
Forestry camp is for incoming high school juniors and seniors nominated by their teachers. 60 campers will be admitted on a first come, first served basis based on date of postmark. A maximum of 4 students per FFA Chapter are allowed unless advisors are notified otherwise. Campers may not return to camp after attending one year.

Our workshop is geared toward all educators, both formal and non-formal and both experienced in the outdoors and not experienced in the outdoors, as we hope to equip teachers and aspiring teachers to pass the knowledge of our forests on to students.

TN Dept of Agriculture - Program Overview Webinar
The Tennessee Department of Agriculture Business Development Division invites you to participate in a free webinar on January 28th, 6 pm to 7:30 pm CST that provide an overview of the grants and services provided by the division. The webinar will cover cost share programs including the Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program (TAEP), the Ag Enterprise Fund (AEF), and the AgTrack grants, along with other financial assistance opportunities for Tennessee producers.
The webinar will also highlight the Pick Tennessee Products Program, and an update on new opportunities for producers to engage with activities hosted by the program. Finally, we will discuss trends that the Business Development staff are seeing, and international marketing opportunities. Producers can sign up to receive consultation and advice related to their individual operations.

Morgan County Forestry Association Meeting
Join us for our last meeting of 2024! Our presenter will be Dr. Andrew Muhammad. Dr. Muhammad will discuss the economic impact of Tennessee’s forestry exports. He will examine the export changes overtime across destination countries (e.g., China, European Union) and by product (e.g., oak lumber, hardwood logs, barrels), and he will further assess the full economic impact of export sales on income and jobs at the state level.
