What is the TCW Workshop
The Teacher's Conservation Workshop is a free week-long workshop for educators who want to incorporate the environment into their everyday curriculum. This workshop is designed with the teacher in mind with hands-on activities and field trips allowing you to learn the latest techniques in forest management that can be utilized in the classroom.
From the forest, to the products. learn about the wood using industries and the care taken to ensure future forest health. This workshop explores economic links between natural resource management and stewardship.

Two workshops are held each summer. You have your choice of attending the University of Tennessee in Knoxville or Pickwick Landing State Park, Pickwick Dam.
This course is free to participants, however we do ask for a $25.00 reservation fee to hold your place in the workshop. This fee is refunded the last day of the course.
